Long Time Gone

It’s been a long time since you’ve touched me
A long time since I’ve been home
To see the blue melody of day
And know it was you all along

I just wonder what my world’s come to
Since the last time I talked to you
I know it’s been a long time gone

And all I’ve needed was for you to come and change
All these thoughts that I’ve owned
To open my hands again
To pull my feet from the sand

I walked away before
